VAS Ltd Photography Competition
Description

Show your best shot! Run under official VAS Ltd guidelines, this competition gives local photographers the chance to compete at a higher level. Entries must follow the specified criteria for size, subject, and presentation, and be delivered to the Henderson Pavilion during the allocated entry times, ready for judging. A fantastic opportunity to have your work recognised beyond the local Show.

Prizes

- Most Successful Exhibitor for both Open & Junior sections.
- 1st Prize - $10. 2nd Prize - $5. (unless otherwise stated)

Conditions of Entry

- All Exhibits are to be at the Henderson Pavilion by 5 pm on Wednesday 15th October to allow judging to take place before the Show.
- All prints to be presented on mount board, not framed – Mounting Boards will be supplied by the Society and Exhibitors must mount their prints – please use clear 3M tape to prevent damage.
- Place the Exhibitor’s ticket on the back of the photo – NOT on the mount board.
- Mounting Boards must be returned when the exhibits are collected.
- Prints must be 15cm x 10cm, EXCEPT Class 7 The Tony Reeckman Memorial Prize.
- Maximum of 4 entries per class by an individual exhibitor in this section.
- All photographs to be taken within the last 12 months.
- Image must be printed on either matt or gloss photography paper colour or monochrome.
- All images, except for Experimental Photography/AI class, are to be the original work of the Exhibitor – NO AI.
- Your prize card is your prize voucher – prize money is available after 4.30 pm on Show Day.
- No exhibit is to be removed before 4.00 pm and must be arranged with a Steward.
