Baking Novice Class - 13 years & older
Description

New to baking? This one’s for you! Open to entrants aged 13 years and over who are just starting out in the kitchen. The Novice Class is the perfect way to have a go, learn, and showcase your homemade creations in a friendly competition. Exhibits must be delivered to the Henderson Pavilion on Show Day during the allocated entry times, ready for judging.

Ribbons for 1st, 2nd and Highly Commended
(Prize money awarded as stated.)

Conditions of Entry

- All Exhibits must be at the Henderson Pavilion between 8 am & 9.30 am on Saturday 18th October
- Judging Commences at 10.30 am on Saturday 18th.
Only one entry per Exhibitor in any Class
- Your prize card is your prize voucher – prizes are available after 4.30 pm on Show Day.
- Packet Cake Mix NOT to be used unless Specified.
- Baking exhibits must not require refrigeration.
- All Baking exhibits should be covered with clear plastic bags (not plastic clingwrap - oven bags are ideal)
- Plates must be solid and of an appropriate size.
- Size of item unspecified unless stated.
- No exhibit is to be removed before 4.00 pm and must be arranged with a Steward.
