Bring your chooks and eggs to the Show! This section celebrates backyard poultry, with classes for birds and egg displays. Entries must be delivered to the Pavilion during the allocated times, ready for judging on Show Day. A great opportunity for local poultry keepers to showcase their flocks and fresh produce.

There have been no new cases of H7N8 high pathogenicity bird flu since late February 2025.
As a consequence of successfully implementing disease eradication activities, quarantine has been revoked on the 4 infected properties near Euroa and the control order surrounding the area has been lifted.
There are no longer movement restrictions around the Euroa area.
This progress is a significant step towards establishing Australia’s claim to freedom from high pathogenicity avian influenza.
Any suspicion of an emergency animal disease (EAD) should be immediately reported to the 24-hour EAD Hotline on 1800 675 888 or to your local vet.
Bird shows are not allowed within the control area during an outbreak.
Outside this area, bird shows are a great opportunity for breeders and exhibitors to showcase breeds and compete for coveted titles. However, disease can spread because of close contact between birds and handlers from different locations.
